I've decided to go for four stars despite the initial goods delivered not being as ordered. Ordered 32mm wide braces, 25mm delivered. Responded to Amazon's feedback "not as ordered" and correct items were delivered within three days.

I have tried the heavy duty duty braces that I wanted for holding up my armoured motorcycling trousers. They work very well. No longer having to keep pulling the trousers up.

Stylish, well designed, functional. Using these to support waterproof sailing pants. I have yet to try them due to current situation.

The Hunt & Holditch braces were just what i had in mind. They have only a small amount of stretch, which allows some give, without the springiness of cheap braces.

although I ordered the wrong Braces , and ordered 50mm ones by mistake they are great for workwear so I will be placing another order for the 30 mm ones , the trouser clips are the best I have had and that includes genuine army issue ones , all things considered the best Bracers I have ever had.

I have now used these braces on my country trousers on three separate days out working my dogs, Have found them very comfortable to wear and do not slip off my shoulders thanks I think to the high yoke. They are well made and am very pleased with the purchase.

Order took longer than expected to arrive but now it has I am happy with the braces. I ordered the heavy duty ones because I had ordered standard ones from another supplier which are rubbish. Heavy duty are exactly that, I was surprised just how robust they are a little too heavy duty for me but I'm not complaing. These braces are well made, the clips or should I say clamps, are finished nicely without any sharp edges. The elastic the good quality. I don't think I will ever have to order another pair.

These look to be good strong braces. However, as they are a Christmas gift for my pops, I can’t give a more in depth review. Delivery and service good.

I've been needing new work braces for a while, but no longer wish to deal with an online American River. It's flooding the market with cheap tat. So I was made up to find out about a company in Cheshire, who I could support. (Probably made in China, what isn't) So went online - a good selection of different types of braces. Made my choice, ordered really easily, no problems at all, payment by card, brilliant. Great customer service, came faster than expected, especially at this very awkward time, with Covid 19 causing many delivery problems. Couldn't wish for better, highly recommended. I will use them again. And no swimming up the Amazon either.

Thank you for the opportunity to review the British Braces I recently purchased. As you know I as Father Christmas has to wear a suitable red suit to perform HO HO HOs and deliver presents. The lower part of the suit commonly referred to as the “trousers” was retained in place by a thin elastic chord. Unfortunately due to the requirement to eat copious numbers of mince pies, cookies, etc and consume various liquid refreshments from tumblers of milk to tots of whiskey the retaining cord failed. I saw that a very suitable set of Christmas British braces would do the trick. They now retain Santa’s trousers and his dignity. Unfortunately they are hidden under the smock, the top half of the suit. They cannot be displayed to an admiring audience. All in all Father Christmas is very pleased with his British Braces. There was a disadvantage found during recent videoing outside on a cold and wet day. Judging the timing because of no buttons or zip in the trousers and with additional clothing features to enhance the girth was necessary and not to be ignored fo comfort breaks. Access to the hidden braces was very reduced. Yours faithfully Father Christmas.

As a motorcyclist I like to wear a belt and braces, mainly for safety reasons. If you ride a bike, you'll understand. These braces specifically made for us are 50mm of great quality. Generously sized and strong, they certainly help keep heavyweight armoured jeans in place. Plenty of adjustment too and a good selection of 'themes'. Great price and service from the company.
